Sarai Alamgir — A woman from Sarai Alamgir has been arrested for allegedly murdering her three minor children with the help of an accomplice and burying their bodies in the Kachnatar area within the jurisdiction of Bhimber City police station.
According to police sources, the suspect woman and her alleged accomplice, identified as Babar, were taken into custody late last night by Sarai Alamgir police. During initial interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to killing the children and concealing their bodies at the site.
Following the disclosure, a heavy contingent of Punjab Police joined Bhimber Police at the crime scene, where recovery of the bodies and collection of evidence is underway. The area has been cordoned off and forensic teams have been called to assist with the investigation.
Authorities said a full probe is in progress and further legal action will be taken based on forensic findings.
