Nasirabad — The Democratic Watan Party strongly condemned the recent attack on Rais Farhan Ghani Jamali, president of Kachhi Press Club. According to Shabbir Ahmed Abro, armed assailants attacked the journalist near Musi Basti, Dhadar, using sticks and rods. The attack is linked to reports exposing corruption regarding substandard construction materials. Abro demanded immediate action to arrest the culprits and urged investigative authorities to ensure journalists can work without fear. The party warned that suppressing journalists’ voices through violence will be met with firm resistance. Authorities, including the Chief Justice of Balochistan and IG Police, were urged to intervene promptly.
