Quetta: The Balochistan National Party strongly criticized the government’s notification transferring Justice of Peace powers to administrative officers. BNP leaders warned that such actions compromise judicial independence, echoing previous court rulings that invalidated similar attempts. The party emphasized that dual authority in law enforcement could create administrative conflicts and undermine citizens’ rights. BNP demanded the immediate withdrawal of the notification and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting constitutional principles and human rights across Balochistan.
