Quetta, Jan 4, 2026 – Independent Report: The provincial leader of Jamaat Ahle Sunnat Pakistan, Mufti Muhammad Iqbal Al-Qadri, strongly condemned the assassination attempt on Press Club President Rais Farhan Ghani Jamali, calling it an attack on freedom of the press.
Authorities, including the IG Police and DIG Nasirabad, were urged to arrest the attackers immediately and ensure justice. The party reaffirmed its commitment to protecting journalists and providing full security for press members across the region.
