Pakistan Expressway to Boost Balochistan Connectivity: Aleem Khan

Federal Minister for Communications and President IPP Abdul Aleem Khan on Tuesday met Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and discussed matters of mutual interest, including the prevailing national and political situation.
The meeting reviewed progress on highway infrastructure in Balochistan and issues related to the National Highway Authority (NHA). Abdul Aleem Khan said the NHA is actively working on several major projects in the province, including the Pakistan Expressway, despite security challenges.
He stated that the 813-kilometer-long Pakistan Expressway, linking Karachi, Quetta and Chaman, is expected to be completed within two years. The minister emphasized that upgrading highways in Balochistan remains the top priority of the NHA.
Assuring quality standards, Abdul Aleem Khan said international-standard and high-quality construction on the N-25 highway would be ensured. Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail highlighted ongoing highway works across the province, underscoring their importance for development and improved connectivity.
