Police in Pishin have seized 55 kilograms of high-quality hashish during a major anti-narcotics operation conducted under the directives of DPO Abdul Aleem Achakzai.
The operation was carried out by SHO Alizai Police Station Naseebullah Badezai along with his team under the supervision of DSP Circle Peer Ismatullah, acting on secret intelligence. Police raided a designated location and recovered the narcotics; however, the suspects managed to escape.
The seized drugs were taken into custody, and a formal case has been registered. Further investigation is underway, while raids are being conducted at various locations to arrest the fleeing suspects.
DPO Pishin praised the police team’s performance and reiterated that indiscriminate action against drug traffickers would continue. He emphasized that narcotics pose a serious threat to society, particularly youth, and vowed that no leniency would be shown toward those involved in the drug trade.
