Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif was presented with a guard of honour upon his arrival at the Governor House in Quetta on Thursday. Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandokhail received the Prime Minister and formally welcomed him at the historic venue.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing, a detailed meeting was held between the Prime Minister and the Governor, during which matters relating to Balochistan’s overall situation were discussed. The Governor briefed the Prime Minister on ongoing development projects across the province and highlighted progress made in key sectors.
Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, along with Federal Ministers Professor Ahsan Iqbal, Aleem Khan, Rana Sanaullah, and prominent political leaders from Balochistan, were also present during the meeting.
The discussions focused on governance, development priorities, and coordination between the federal and provincial governments. The Prime Minister reiterated the federal government’s commitment to supporting Balochistan’s development initiatives and ensuring timely completion of projects aimed at improving public welfare and infrastructure across the province.
