AFIGP Pakistan Concludes National Elections 2026

Islamabad: The Association of Former Inspectors General of Police (AFIGP) Pakistan, a registered professional body comprising retired Inspectors General of Police, has successfully concluded its National Elections 2026.
Following the completion of the electoral process, Dr. Shoaib Suddle was elected President unopposed, Dr. Tariq Masood Yasin was elected Vice President unopposed, while Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam was elected General Secretary through a ballot.
The elections were conducted in a transparent, fair, and orderly manner by the AFIGP Election Commission, headed by Kamal Uddin Tipu as Election Commissioner, with Qudratullah Khan and Sultan Azam Temuri serving as Members. To ensure broad-based and inclusive participation of members from across the country, digital polling was employed. With the formal notification of results, the AFIGP National Executive Body now stands duly constituted.
Established in 2017, the Association of Former Inspectors General of Police (AFIGP) Pakistan is a registered professional body dedicated to advancing police reforms, officers’ welfare, and the strengthening of professional policing standards. Since its inception, AFIGP has played a constructive role as an independent think tank, providing evidence-based advice to governments and relevant institutions on policing, internal security, and criminal justice governance in Pakistan.
