On the directives of DIG Police Hyderabad Tariq Razaq Khan Dharijo and under the orders of SSP Thatta Farooq Ahmed Bajarani, Thatta Police carried out district-wide snap checking to maintain law and order.
During the operation, police checked suspicious individuals using modern search devices and inspected motorcycles, rickshaws, passenger vans, buses, and other small and large vehicles. Tinted glasses and fancy number plates were removed from several vehicles. Police teams also conducted checks at hotels and other locations to verify suspicious persons.
All SDPOs, along with SHOs, supervised snap checking within their respective jurisdictions. Special attention was given to key areas, particularly entry and exit points of the city.
Police officials stated that the initiative aims to ensure peace and prevent any untoward incident in the district.
