Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic traffic accident involving a passenger bus on the Makran Coastal Highway, which resulted in the loss of precious human lives.
The chief minister conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. He directed the Deputy Commissioner Gwadar to ensure immediate medical care and best possible treatment for the injured passengers. CM Bugti also ordered the provision of ambulance services to transport the bodies of the deceased to their native areas.
Taking serious notice of the incident, the chief minister sought a detailed report on the accident and ordered a formal inquiry to ascertain the causes of the tragedy.
In a separate development, CM Balochistan held a telephonic conversation with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to discuss the condition and medical treatment of those injured in the bus accident near Ormara. According to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, on the directives of CM Bugti, critically injured passengers are being airlifted to private hospitals in Karachi for advanced treatment.
The chief minister further instructed the Deputy Commissioner Gwadar and relevant authorities to ensure the immediate shifting of the injured and timely completion of all administrative arrangements. Officials confirmed that all injured passengers belong to Sindh province.
