Dr Abdul Malik Visits CPSP Quetta Centre

Quetta, January 17 — Member of the Balochistan Assembly and former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, paid a detailed visit to the Regional Centre of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), Quetta.
During the visit, Head of CPSP Regional Centre Quetta Prof Dr Ayesha Siddiqa briefed him on the institution’s academic and professional activities. She said CPSP was giving special priority to postgraduate medical education in Balochistan, adding that CPSP President Prof Khalid Masood Gondal, Senior Vice President Prof Muhammad Shoaib Shafi, and the council were providing full support to doctors of the province for higher medical training.
Dr Abdul Malik Baloch appreciated the role of CPSP in strengthening postgraduate medical education and congratulated Prof Dr Ayesha Siddiqa on her national and international achievements.
He said Dr Ayesha Siddiqa, a daughter of Balochistan, brought pride to Pakistan and the province by receiving the Women’s World Award for the Asia-Oceania region and being honoured with FIGO’s Board of Trustees, an honour awarded to only 19 women worldwide.
