Kohlu: Member of the Provincial Assembly Changez Khan Marri has categorically stated that there will be no compromise on the quality or timely completion of ongoing development projects in the district. He said that the provision of basic facilities at the doorsteps of the people, particularly in far-flung areas, is a key priority, which will help address long-standing public issues.
The provincial lawmaker emphasized that public welfare schemes are the government’s foremost priority, warning that negligence, carelessness, or unnecessary delays in development works will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He noted that the construction of standard and durable roads in both urban and remote areas of Kohlu will not only ensure safe and efficient transportation for the public but will also promote commercial activities, thereby strengthening the local economy.
Changez Khan Marri further said that the effective and timely completion of other ongoing development projects will ensure the continuous availability of clean drinking water, uninterrupted electricity, as well as improved health and education facilities, which are essential indicators of a developed region.
He added that clear directives have been issued to all concerned departments and contractors to strictly ensure transparency, quality, and adherence to approved timelines. He warned that contractors involved in substandard construction or delays beyond the stipulated period will face strict action.
Reaffirming his commitment, Changez Khan Marri said that the completion of development projects will bring prosperity to the area and lead to a visible improvement in the standard of living of the people.
