PESHAWAR: A young motorcyclist was shot dead by unknown assailants near Kabootar Chowk in the Pahari Pura area on Friday.
According to initial reports, the victim was busy purchasing groceries near Kabootar Chowk when unidentified attackers opened fire, hitting him in the chest. He died on the spot due to critical injuries.
Police reached the scene soon after the incident, cordoned off the area, and collected evidence. The body was shifted to a nearby hospital for legal formalities. An investigation has been launched, and efforts are underway to trace and arrest those responsible.
