Zimbabwe Cricket has appointed legendary West Indies fast bowler Courtney Walsh to its support staff for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Walsh’s role focuses on enhancing the team’s technical and strategic capabilities ahead of the global event running from 7 February to 8 March. Zimbabwe is in Group B, facing Australia, Ireland, Oman, and Sri Lanka, with matches scheduled in Colombo. Managing Director Guiemore Makoni stated that Walsh’s vast international experience, particularly in fast bowling, will help Zimbabwean players improve performance and strategy. The appointment underscores the country’s commitment to preparation and its ambition to make a strong impression on the international stage.
