Tank, January 19, 2026:
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, visited the Police Lines in Tank today to pay tribute to the police martyrs who lost their lives in the recent terrorist attack. During the visit, he laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial and offered prayers for the elevation of their ranks in the hereafter.
The Governor met with the families of the fallen officers, expressing heartfelt condolences and solidarity. He assured the families of full support and assistance from the provincial government.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Kundi said that the sacrifices of police personnel in the fight against terrorism are a source of national pride and will never be forgotten. He praised the courage, dedication, and resilience of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s police and security forces, highlighting their invaluable contributions to the country’s safety and security.
The Governor also met with local community leaders and emphasized that the bravery and sacrifices of police and security personnel ensure the stability and security of the nation, and their efforts must always be remembered.
