KP CM Visits Tirah Affectees Registration Center, Rejects Forced Displacement Policies

Peshawar: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi visited the registration center established for Tirah affectees in Bara tehsil of Khyber district, where he met displaced families and listened to their grievances. He issued on-the-spot directives to relevant authorities for immediate resolution of issues. The Chief Minister assured that all possible facilities would be provided to the affectees and stressed that the provincial government would not abandon tribal communities. Criticizing past decisions, he said terrorists were resettled despite repeated objections, leading to forced displacement of civilians. He termed tribal districts “not laboratories for failed policies” and emphasized that no policy could succeed without public support
