Lahore: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has issued a formal notice to the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), directing that club scrutiny will be conducted only under PSB supervision.
PSB stated that PHF released a club scrutiny schedule without consultation, calling it unauthorized and a source of confusion among stakeholders. The board emphasized that transparency and institutional oversight are mandatory for such processes.
PSB has asked PHF to immediately clarify the matter to ensure confidence within the hockey community. Officials warned that unilateral actions undermine governance and accountability in sports administration. The board reiterated that all stakeholders must follow officially approved procedures to safeguard the integrity of national sports structures and ensure fair representation in hockey affairs.
