Lahore, January 19, 2026: Punjab Counter Narcotics Force recovered drugs worth 9 crore PKR hidden in an oil tanker near Burhan rest area. The seizure included 1,140 kg of weed and opium. Authorities confirmed that the contraband was being smuggled to multiple cities including Lahore, Sheikhupura, Multan, and Faisalabad. The suspect was arrested at the scene, and a case has been registered under the Punjab Control of Narcotics Substances Act. Investigations are ongoing
