Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has criticized opposition leaders, saying political movements cannot be driven by “cinematic dialogues and empty threats.” In a statement, she praised the Punjab government’s electric bus project, calling it a major relief for citizens during winter.
She said the public is benefiting from affordable and modern transport, crediting Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for prioritizing public welfare. Azma Bukhari accused the previous provincial administration of misleading the public and said development and stability have returned under the current government.
The minister stated that equal development is underway across Punjab and defended PML-N’s governance model. She added that those who once claimed to launch street movements are now focused on political survival, asserting that public support remains firmly with the elected government.
