Lahore, January 19, 2026: Two Pakistani youths, Tahir Rasool and a friend, were abducted in Cambodia while seeking employment. According to reports, they traveled from Lahore on December 22 with Malaysian visit visas and arrived in Cambodia on December 25. They were confined in a room by abductors, who took their passports and threatened them. The victims revealed that ten more Pakistanis and women are also held and reportedly tortured, including nail-pulling. The youths managed to contact their families via a Bangladeshi employee’s phone but received no response from the Pakistani embassy.
