Ulma Council Delegation Meets Iranian Consul General

Maulana Muhammad Amin Ansari praised Iran’s leadership and people for resisting aggression

KARACHI: A delegation of the United Ulama Council of Pakistan, led by Maulana Muhammad Amin Ansari, met Iranian Consul General Akbar Eissa Zadeh at the Iranian Consulate in Karachi and conveyed goodwill and solidarity with Iran.

The delegation congratulated the Consul General on assuming office and expressed support for the Iranian government and people amid recent regional developments. Consul General Eissa Zadeh thanked the people and government of Pakistan for their support during the recent conflict involving Iran, as well as for backing the Palestinian cause.

Maulana Muhammad Amin Ansari praised Iran’s leadership and people for resisting aggression, stating that the council has worked for Muslim unity for the past 18 years and considers solidarity with Iran a religious duty. Maulana Mirza Yousuf Hussain also highlighted the role of the Islamic Revolution in strengthening Muslim unity and offered prayers for the success of Islam worldwide.

Dr. Syed Shamil Ahmad Qadri Hanbali said that Wilayat-e-Faqih is a source of pride for Muslims and stressed that the Islamic Revolution provides guidance for resisting global colonialism and forces hostile to Islam.
