Lahore, 20 January 2026: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Industries & Production, Haroon Akhtar Khan, reviewed preparations for the upcoming “Made in Pakistan – SME Cluster Showcase 2026”, scheduled from January 24 to 26 at the Lahore Expo Center.
In a Zoom meeting with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) team organizing the event, he emphasized that all possible efforts should be made to ensure the showcase’s success. The SAPM highlighted that the event aims to strengthen Pakistan’s micro, small, and medium enterprise ecosystem, expand market access, and position SME clusters as a competitive pillar of the national economy, aligned with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s SME development vision.
He instructed SMEDA to ensure that SME clusters from AJK, Gilgit Baltistan, South Punjab, and Balochistan receive proper visibility and facilitation. CEO SMEDA Nadia Jahangir Seth presented a detailed briefing, assuring that the event will demonstrate the full potential of Pakistan’s SME clusters.
