Larkana:
The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Larkana chapter has demanded immediate action against a blackmail mafia allegedly targeting women and young girls in the city, extorting cash and valuables. The demand was made during a press conference by PML-N Larkana General Secretary, Ahmed Bakhsh Korai, at Larkana Press Club.
He stated that some city officials and members of the mafia are reportedly harassing respected families, targeting minor girls and married women, causing severe distress and financial loss to affected households. He condemned the apparent inaction of police and local authorities, calling it unacceptable.
Ahmed Bakhsh Korai urged the IG Sindh, DIG Larkana, and SSP Larkana to take strict notice of the situation, launch immediate action against the blackmailers, and ensure the protection of citizens’ lives, honor, and property.
Social activists Ali Madad Korai, Mumtaz Ali Khadro, and Mumtaz Ali Korai were also present at the press conference.
