Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar Conducts Surprise Inspection of Wadh Hospital, Pledges Strengthened Healthcare in Remote Areas

KHUZDAR: Deputy Commissioner Abdul Razaq Sasoli has underlined the importance of regular field visits to remote parts of Khuzdar district, stressing that direct engagement with local communities is essential to address grievances and ensure that government policies translate into tangible improvements in people’s lives.
In a surprise visit to the Sub-Divisional Headquarters Hospital Wadh, DC Sasoli found the entire staff present and operations running smoothly. SSP Khuzdar Shehzada Umar Abbas Babar, Assistant Commissioner Akbar Ali Mazarzai, and other officials accompanied him during the inspection, which focused on evaluating medical service delivery and ensuring timely attention to public health concerns.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner ordered the immediate removal of unauthorized occupancy in doctors’ residential quarters and directed that all staff be accommodated in their designated quarters within one week. He toured critical hospital departments, including the Emergency, OPD, and wards, receiving a detailed briefing on operational challenges from Dr. Abdul Rauf Mengal, In-Charge of RHC Wadh.
DC Sasoli emphasized full staff attendance, continuous operation of all hospital units, and uninterrupted patient care. He highlighted allocated funds for upgrading the operation theatre to expand surgical capacity, which he said would directly benefit patients.
Stressing professionalism and accountability, the Deputy Commissioner warned that any negligence in patient care would not be tolerated. He also reviewed hospital security and administrative arrangements with SSP and Assistant Commissioner to ensure a safe and effective environment for staff and patients.
Abdul Razaq Sasoli has been actively conducting field visits across Khuzdar, including Sub-Division Karkh, to enhance coordination between civil administration and police. He is also closely monitoring Balochistan Special Development Initiative (BSDI) projects to ensure timely completion, adherence to quality standards, and prioritization of public welfare.
Through these on-site inspections, real-time issues are promptly identified and addressed, accelerating development efforts in the district. Hospital authorities pledged full compliance with the Deputy Commissioner’s directives and committed to further strengthening healthcare services, marking a decisive step toward improved medical facilities and public welfare in Khuzdar.
