Islamabad, January 20: The Centre for Aerospace & Security Studies (CASS), Islamabad, hosted a delegation from the Army Command and Staff College, Nepal, on Monday to discuss aerospace security and evolving regional dynamics.
The visit focused on the increasing importance of the aerial domain in contemporary and future conflicts, as well as the need to enhance academic and professional cooperation between Pakistan and Nepal. As an independent think tank, CASS regularly engages with national and international scholars and practitioners on broader national security issues.
President CASS, Air Marshal (Retd.) Javaid Ahmed welcomed the delegation and highlighted the longstanding cordial relations between Pakistan and Nepal. He noted sustained cooperation across multiple sectors, particularly professional collaboration and institutional linkages between the armed forces of both countries. He also underlined constructive engagement within the SAARC framework to advance shared regional objectives.
The session included presentations on key findings from CASS research and emerging aerospace developments, followed by an interactive discussion on modern warfare, aerospace security, emerging technologies, and prospects for future cooperation.
