Quetta: Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) has launched a modern online system to facilitate new electricity connections for consumers. Residents can now apply for new connections from home via www.enc.com.pk or QESCOโs official website www.qesco.com.pk.
The system provides guidance in both Urdu and English. Applicants must scan and upload relevant documents. After QESCO conducts site surveys and obtains sub-division approval, the connection will be installed promptly. QESCO warns that incomplete or fraudulent documents may result in legal action. The online platform also allows name changes on bills and load adjustments.
QESCO Suspends Load Shedding in Quetta, Other Cold Regions for One Week
Quetta: Due to extreme cold, QESCO has decided to suspend load shedding in Quetta and other cold areas of the province for one week, aiming to reduce public hardship and maintain commercial activities.
All field operation staff remain on alert to address any technical faults or emergencies promptly. Rural feeders will continue according to their existing schedules, except in Makran Division, Sibi, and Naseerabad areas. QESCO has urged consumers to use electricity judiciously to avoid overloading the power system.
