Quetta — Inspector General of Police Muhammad Tahir emphasized that promoting sports and providing facilities for players is a priority for Balochistan Police. A cricket match and other sports events were organized between PTC commandant staff and trainees. The IG praised the performance of young athletes, noting that sports develop discipline, teamwork, and professional skills while keeping youth away from negative activities. Winners were awarded for their performance, and the IG participated as a guest player, boosting morale among trainees. Regular tournaments are planned to promote fitness, positive engagement, and team spirit among the police youth.
