Federal Minister for Law and Human Rights Azam Nazeer Tarar has described overseas Pakistanis as a valuable national asset, underscoring their critical role in strengthening Pakistan’s economy through remittances.
He was addressing an Overseas International Convention organized by Hope of Overseas Pakistanis Spain in Barcelona, which brought together office bearers and representatives from across the world. The minister said overseas Pakistanis have consistently supported the country during challenging times and remain true contributors to national development.
Tarar assured participants that the government is fully committed to resolving the issues faced by overseas Pakistanis on a priority basis, safeguarding their rights, and enhancing facilitation measures for their welfare.
The convention was also addressed by Chairman Overseas Pakistanis Foundation Syed Qamar Raza Shah, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Spain Dr. Zahoor Ahmed, Consul General Barcelona Murad Ali Wazir, and other prominent community leaders. Speakers praised the role of overseas Pakistanis and congratulated the organizers on successfully hosting the event.
