Speaker Sindh Assembly and Home Minister Sindh preside over meeting to review security arrangements for upcoming Int. CPA Conference
Arrangements for the upcoming international 7th CPA Asia Regional Conference and the 2nd Joint CPA Asia & South-East Asia Regional Conference.

KARACHI: Speaker Provincial Assembly of Sindh, Syed Awais Qadir Shah, along with Minister for Home, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Sindh, Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar, presided over a high-level meeting at the Provincial Assembly of Sindh to review security arrangements for the upcoming 7th CPA Asia Regional Conference and the 2nd Joint CPA Asia & South-East Asia Regional Conference.
The meeting was attended by Home Secretary Muhammad Iqbal Memon, Secretary Health Department Sindh Jamshed Alam Memon, Inspector General of Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho, and Additional Inspector General / Karachi Police Chief Azad Khan.
The Speaker Provincial Assembly of Sindh was accompanied by Secretary Provincial Assembly G.M. Umar Farooq, Director General Irfan Ahmed Memon, Director General Protocol PAS Rashid Hussain, and Deputy Secretary PAS Tariq Mahar.
Additional Inspector General Special Branch Sharjil Kharal, Deputy Inspector General Sheeraz Nazir, Additional Deputy Commissioner Asadullah Khoso, SSP SSU Sadam Hussain, and Municipal Commissioner KMC Sumera Hussain were also present in the meeting.
Speaker Syed Awais Qadir Shah thoroughly reviewed the security arrangements for the upcoming international 7th CPA Asia Regional Conference and the 2nd Joint CPA Asia & South-East Asia Regional Conference.
Home Minister Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar directed the concerned authorities to ensure strict security measures for the peaceful and effective conduct of the conference.
Speaking on the occasion, Speaker Syed Awais Qadir Shah said that Sindh is known as the land of hospitality, and this tradition must be upheld. “Our guests should be warmly received and positively impressed by our hospitality,” he added.
