LAHORE, January 30: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif lauded the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) for successfully foiling a terrorist attempt in Mianwali, reiterating her administration’s commitment to protecting the lives and property of the citizens at all costs.
The Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed her gratitude over the timely intervention by the CTD. She paid tribute to the professional excellence of the personnel involved in the operation, noting that their swift action had averted a potential catastrophe.
“We will not rest until the monster of terrorism is eliminated from the country,” the chief minister asserted. She further emphasized that the safety of the public remains the provincial government’s top priority and that no stone would be left unturned in ensuring peace across Punjab.
The Chief Minister’s commendation comes amid heightened security efforts in the province to neutralize militant threats and maintain law and order.
