PSCA Continues 24/7 Real-Time Surveillance Through Advanced Cameras & Drones Across Punjab

Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) continues to implement 24/7 real time surveillance through advanced technology, smart cameras, and drone monitoring across the province. This technology based monitoring system enables effective identification of open manholes, illegal kite flying, crime hotspots, encroachments, wrong parking, and other violations, ensuring timely and appropriate action.

According to the spokesperson of Punjab Safe Cities Authority, drone surveillance conducted in the areas of Mahmood Booti and Sherkot Band Road identified smoke emissions from factories, upon which the relevant departments were immediately informed to ensure prompt action. Similarly, during drone monitoring at Band Road, Niazi Adda, incidents of wrong parking were identified, and swift action was taken to restore smooth traffic flow.

During drone surveillance operations in Safe City Multan, several open manholes were identified at different locations. The relevant departments were promptly notified, and immediate corrective measures were taken. In Okara, Multan and Gujrat, drone-based action against illegal kite flying resulted in immediate legal proceedings against elements involved in commiting such violations.Furthermore, drone surveillance is actively ongoing at crime hotspots in Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan and Sialkot, with strict monitoring of suspicious activities.

The spokesperson stated that drone operations against illegal activities are continuously being carried out across the province, and the departments concerned are strictly implementing a zero-tolerance policy against numerious violations.The spokesperson of Punjab Safe Cities Authority emphasized that sustainable measures are being consistently implemented through advanced technology and drone-based monitoring to ensure a safe and peaceful Punjab.
