Kohlu, 4 Feb 2026: Former Provincial Minister Mir Naseebullah Mari expressed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people ahead of 5 February, observed as Youm-e-Yakjehti-e-Kashmir. He stated that the Pakistani nation stands like a “steel wall” alongside Kashmiris, underlining the deep historical and cultural bonds between the two communities.
Mari called Kashmir’s struggle for freedom legitimate and principled, emphasizing that Pakistan will continue to support the Kashmiri cause at every international forum. He urged the global community to address ongoing human rights violations in Indian-administered Kashmir and ensure adherence to UN resolutions.
He highlighted that excessive force, state oppression, and violations of civil liberties by Indian authorities pose serious risks to regional peace and stability. Mari reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to amplifying the Kashmiri voice, ensuring their sacrifices are recognized, and supporting the struggle for self-determination until justice is achieved.
