Quetta, Feb 4:

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Quetta district leaders have appealed to the public to maintain unity, peace, and mutual respect across Balochistan amid prevailing tensions. Addressing a press gathering, district chief Maulana Abdul Rehman Rafiq and other party leaders described Quetta as a shared home for diverse ethnic, tribal, and sectarian communities.

They warned that slogans rooted in prejudice, sectarianism, and regional bias damage social harmony and only benefit hostile forces. The leaders emphasized that patience, tolerance, and collective responsibility are urgently needed to protect peace in the province.

Calling on citizens to reject divisive narratives, the JUI leaders urged people to promote brotherhood and cooperation. They reiterated that the party has consistently advocated peace, religious harmony, and Islamic unity, and would continue resisting any attempts to destabilize Balochistan’s peaceful identity.
