Nosherwani Says Kashmir Cause Is Pakistan’s Moral Test, Urges World to Act on UN Pledges

Quetta: Provincial Finance and Minerals Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani has reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering political, moral, and diplomatic support for the Kashmiri people, stating that the struggle of Kashmiris for their right to self-determination remains a core national commitment.
In a statement issued on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Minister said Pakistan has persistently raised the legitimate demands of its Kashmiri brothers and sisters at every international forum, while exposing India’s continued oppression and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir before the global community.
Mir Shoaib Nosherwani emphasized that Pakistan’s support will continue until the people of occupied Kashmir are granted their internationally recognized right to self-determination. He said Kashmir Solidarity Day is not only a tribute to the immense sacrifices of the Kashmiri people but also a reminder of Pakistan’s firm stance that the future of Kashmir must be decided in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
Calling upon the international community to shoulder its responsibility, he urged global powers to give serious attention to the Kashmir dispute and ensure that world opinion translates into meaningful support for the Kashmiri people’s struggle for freedom.
He added that the people of Balochistan stand resolutely with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters, reflecting national unity and Pakistan’s enduring solidarity with the cause of justice and human rights in Kashmir.
