Balochistan Security Forces Neutralize 216 Terrorists in Major Operation
Quetta: Pakistan Army and security agencies successfully completed the “Radd-ul-Fitnah One” operation against terrorists in Balochistan, eliminating 216 militants involved in attacks on civilians, including women and children. Initial intelligence-based raids on January 29 in Panjgur and Harnai neutralized 41 terrorists, followed by extensive clearance operations across multiple districts. Weapons, explosives, and ammunition caches were recovered, preventing further attacks. Tragically, 22 security personnel sacrificed their lives, and 36 innocent civilians, including children, were killed during terrorist attacks prior to the operation. Officials highlighted that the operation significantly disrupted terrorist networks, leadership, and operational capabilities. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif praised the bravery and professionalism of security forces, emphasizing the government’s commitment to public safety and regional stability. The operation underscores Pakistan’s resolve to combat terrorism and restore peace in Balochistan while protecting civilian populations.
