Jattak Says Kashmir Cause Echoes in Every Pakistani Heart, Demands Global Action on Indian Abuses

Independent Report

Quetta, Feb 5:

Provincial Minister and central leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Haji Ali Madad Jattak on Wednesday reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the people of Kashmir, declaring that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and that the Kashmiri struggle for freedom represents the collective voice and conscience of the entire nation.

In his message on Kashmir Solidarity Day, Haji Ali Madad Jattak said that the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) have endured decades of severe oppression, including state terrorism, extended curfews, enforced disappearances, and widespread violations of human rights by Indian forces. Despite the sustained repression, he said, the resolve and bravery of the Kashmiri people remain firm and unbroken.

He strongly denounced the targeting of women, children, and the elderly in occupied Kashmir, describing such acts as a grave challenge to the moral conscience of the international community. Expressing deep concern, he criticized the continued silence of the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and global human rights organizations, calling it both disturbing and unjustifiable.

The PPP leader urged the international community to fulfill its moral and legal obligations by ensuring the implementation of United Nations resolutions and securing the legitimate right to self-determination for the Kashmiri people.

Haji Ali Madad Jattak said that the Pakistan Peoples Party has consistently raised its voice for the Kashmir cause and, under the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, will continue to extend full diplomatic, political, and moral support to the Kashmiri people at all international forums.

Reiterating national solidarity, he said the people of Pakistan, its armed forces, and its leadership stand shoulder to shoulder with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters like a solid wall of lead. He added that the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri people will not go in vain, expressing confidence that oppression cannot endure indefinitely and that the day is not far when Kashmir will be free and united with Pakistan.
