The National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) expressed strong solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir on 5th February, Kashmir Solidarity Day. In this regard, special events were organized across all zones, sectors, and offices of the Motorway Police to reaffirm support for the legitimate struggle for freedom of the Kashmiri people and to demonstrate practical solidarity with them. On this occasion, special banners and posters bearing Kashmir-related slogans were displayed at toll plazas, interchanges, and key locations along motorways and national highways throughout Pakistan. Through these displays, a clear message of unity with the Kashmiri people was conveyed, while heartfelt tributes were paid to the Kashmiri martyrs. Special prayers were also offered for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and for the early freedom of the Kashmiri people. Awareness stalls were also set up to educate citizens and distribute informational material. Furthermore, special solidarity walks were organized at various locations in which a large number of Motorway Police officers, personnel, and citizens participated. These walks conveyed a strong and clear message of unwavering support for the Kashmiri people and their just struggle for freedom.
