Lahore, February 5, 2026: Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has expressed wholehearted solidarity with the people of Kashmir and paid tribute to their courage, resilience, and steadfastness on the eve of Kashmir Solidarity Day. PSCA salutes the unmatched sacrifices of the oppressed Kashmiri people in their struggle and quest for attaining right to self-determination.
According to a spokesperson of Punjab Safe Cities Authority, foolproof security arrangements have been put in place across the province in collaboration with the Safe Cities Authority and Lahore Police to ensure peace and public safety on Kashmir Solidarity Day. All rallies being held across Punjab are continuously monitored through advanced AI-based Safe City cameras, facial recognition systems and modern surveillance software.
The spokesperson further stated that effective monitoring is underway through Safe City drones at key locations, sensitive areas, entry and exit points and along rally routes to promptly respond to any untoward incident. At the PSCA Headquarters, virtual patrolling officers, technical teams and data analysis units are performing their duties round the clock. Continuous monitoring of rally routes is also being carried out through the Safe City Mobile Command Vehicle. In case of identification of any suspicious activity, immediate and effective action is being taken with the assistance of field forces.
The Punjab Safe Cities Authority has appealed to the citizens to stay informed about traffic updates by utilizing the services of Safe City FM 88.6. Leveraging modern technology, Punjab Safe Cities Authority remains fully committed to ensuring maintenance of law and order, public safety and a peaceful environment across the province.
