Chaman, February 9:
Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly, Captain R. Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, inaugurated a newly constructed modern examination hall at Government Model Higher Secondary School Chaman under BSDI Phase-I, emphasizing the vital role of contemporary scientific and technical education in regional progress. He highlighted that the provincial government is actively implementing measures to elevate educational standards throughout Balochistan, including in Chaman.
Captain Abdul Khaliq Achakzai noted that 80 government schools in Chaman have been renovated, repaired, equipped with solar power, and expanded with additional classrooms. Modern examination halls and essential facilities have also been completed at Government Degree College Chaman and Government Model Higher Secondary School Chaman, aiming to provide students with a comfortable and conducive environment for exams, academic activities, and overall learning.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner Chaman Habib Ahmad Bangulzai, Additional Deputy Commissioner Fida Muhammad Baloch, District Education Officer Abdul Quddus Achakzai, Principal Haji Ghulam Sarwar Achakzai, school administrators, and officials from the Education Department.
Speaking at the event, DC Habib Ahmad Bangulzai emphasized the government’s strong focus on the education and health sectors. He commended the Education Department for promoting quality education and highlighted that access to good health and education is a fundamental right for every child, noting that the provincial government is taking concrete steps to ensure these rights are delivered across the district.
In recognition of outstanding administrative performance, the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly presented a shield to DC Chaman Habib Ahmad Bangulzai, while District Education Officer Abdul Quddus Achakzai reciprocated by presenting a shield to the Speaker on behalf of the Education Department.
