Karachi: The Vice Chairman of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade, Bilal Khan Kakar, met with the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Rumaithi, at the UAE Consulate in Karachi to explore new avenues for bilateral cooperation and investment.
The discussions focused on organizing proposed investment conferences in Karachi and Abu Dhabi, progress on the 100-kilometer Rhode Grass Project in Balochistan, and enhanced collaboration in halal meat exports and the livestock sector. Other areas included establishing a used oil recycling plant in Hub, facilitating company registration in the UAE, and joint shrimp farming initiatives.
Vice Chairman Bilal Khan Kakar lauded the UAE Government’s continued support for investment and development in Balochistan, calling the UAE a reliable partner. He highlighted the UAE leadership and investors’ keen interest in agriculture, livestock, energy, and environmental protection projects in the province.
The UAE Consul General, Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Rumaithi, expressed similar enthusiasm for investment opportunities in Balochistan and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening future cooperation.
