Usta Muhammad: In a significant welfare initiative, District Police Usta Muhammad, in collaboration with the District Health Department, has launched a comprehensive health screening program to safeguard the well-being of police personnel. The initiative was carried out in compliance with clear directives issued by the Inspector General of Police Balochistan and the DIG Nasirabad Range, reflecting the department’s growing focus on employee health and safety.
Superintendent of Police Usta Muhammad Ghulam Hussain Buzoi and District Health Officer Amir Ali Jamali were personally present at the screening site, where they supervised the process to ensure transparency and efficiency. Their presence underscored the administration’s commitment to prioritizing the health of police officers performing frontline duties.
During the first phase of screening, a total of 39 police personnel were tested for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV/AIDS. Initial medical reports confirmed hepatitis infection in three personnel. Officials stated that PCR tests for the affected officers will be conducted immediately, while complete and free treatment will be provided through government health facilities.
District Police Usta Muhammad reiterated that similar health and welfare initiatives will continue in the future to ensure timely diagnosis, effective treatment and a healthier working environment for police personnel.
