Quetta, February 10: The Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF) has conducted the admission test for Sadiq Public School (SPS), Bahawalpur, selecting over 100 deserving students from Class 1 to Class 8 from the most underprivileged and underdeveloped districts of Balochistan.
This effort forms part of the Chief Minister’s fully funded Scholarship Program, initiated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti, to provide children from disadvantaged backgrounds with access to one of Pakistan’s premier residential schools. The program aims to equip students to compete on a national level while preparing them to contribute meaningfully to the country’s development.
For the academic year 2026, more than 100 students will benefit, continuing the success of 2025 when a similar number of Balochistan students secured admission to SPS through a transparent, merit-based selection process.
The admission test was supervised by a dedicated team from Sadiq Public School, ensuring strict adherence to fairness, merit, and transparency. BEEF coordinated the process to ensure smooth and efficient administration of the examination.
The Chief Minister’s initiative emphasizes equitable access to quality education, bridging regional and socio-economic gaps, and identifying talent from marginalized areas at an early stage. By promoting merit, transparency, and institutional credibility, the program seeks to strengthen educational opportunities and human capital development in Balochistan.
This flagship scholarship initiative highlights the government’s commitment to inclusive growth and social uplift while reinforcing BEEF’s role in empowering the youth of Balochistan through sustainable, merit-based educational programs.
