Governor Balochistan Lauds CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz for Laying Foundation of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz Paeds Cardiology Wing in Quetta.
Governor Balochistan Jafar Khan Mandokhail on Monday termed the laying of the foundation stone of the Begum Kulsoom Nawaz Paediatric Cardiology Wing at Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Quetta, as a noble and people-friendly initiative, describing it as a generous gift from Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
Speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony, the Governor said the project would bring quality healthcare facilities to the doorsteps of the people of Balochistan, particularly benefiting economically disadvantaged segments of society. He noted that the initiative reflects a strong commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and services in the province.
Governor Mandokhail expressed gratitude for the humanitarian support extended by the Punjab government, stating that such cooperation would be remembered for a long time. He added that the paediatric cardiology wing would provide relief to countless patients and serve as a source of encouragement for philanthropists to step forward and support selfless service for poor and needy people.
The ceremony was attended by leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-N Parliamentarians, doctors, and paramedical staff of Sheikh Zayed Hospital.
