Naseerabad, February 10: The district administration of Naseerabad has announced rigorous measures to preserve the sanctity of Ramadan, focusing on law and order, cleanliness, traffic management, and price regulation throughout the holy month.
The directives were issued during a meeting led by Deputy Commissioner Naseerabad, Captain (R) Zulfiqar Ali Karrar. The session included District Chairman Haji Farid-ul-Haq Lehri, Vice Chairman Haji Allah Bachaya Khoso, Chairman Municipal Committee Dera Murad Jamali Safdar Ali Umrani, leaders of traders’ associations, religious scholars, representatives of minority communities, and officials from relevant departments.
Deputy Commissioner Karrar declared that all hotels would remain closed during daylight hours and warned that any violations would attract strict legal consequences. He emphasized that the Sindh–Balochistan National Highway must remain unobstructed at all times to ensure smooth traffic flow.
Special cleanliness drives will be conducted in markets, bazaars, and public areas, while the Price Control Committee will vigilantly monitor essential commodity rates, imposing penalties on profiteers. Additionally, subsidized Ramadan bazaars will be established to provide affordable goods and ease the burden on residents.
The meeting concluded with participants pledging full cooperation with the district administration to maintain public order, peace, and convenience for citizens during Ramadan.
