ISLAMABAD, February 14, 2026:
The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted six intelligence-based operations across multiple cities, arresting seven suspects and seizing 31.64 kilograms of narcotics worth over Rs29 million.
According to the ANF spokesperson, during an international interdiction operation at a courier office in Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi, authorities recovered 4 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of ecstasy tablets, and 19 grams of suspected narcotics from a parcel arriving from the Netherlands.
In inter-provincial operations, ANF recovered 21.6 kg of hashish near Islamabad Toll Plaza, arresting two suspects.
At Sher Shah Toll Plaza in Multan, 3.6 kg of hashish was seized and one accused detained. In another operation at the same location, 2 kg of ice (crystal meth) was confiscated from a vehicle, leading to the arrest of two individuals. Additionally, 3.2 kg of opium was recovered near Islamabad Toll Plaza, and one suspect was apprehended.
In a domestic operation in Lahore, 1.2 kg of hashish was seized near a mosque, and one individual was arrested.
Cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act (CNSA) 1997, and further investigations are underway, the spokesperson added.
