DGPR Askar Khan Calls for Zero Tolerance on Negligence, Strengthens Public Outreach Across Balochistan

Quetta, February 19 – Director General Public Relations (DGPR) Askar Khan has emphasized that officers who demonstrate integrity, dedication, and professionalism will receive full support, while those neglecting their duties will face strict accountability measures.
Speaking at a high-level meeting of Information Department officials, attended by Director Press Tanveer Akhtar, Director Publicity Saeed Shahwani, Deputy Director Admin Najeebullah, and other senior staff, Askar Khan reviewed the performance of both directorate and district-level officers. The session focused on enhancing departmental efficiency and ensuring effective promotion of Government of Balochistan development projects and public welfare initiatives.
DGPR Askar Khan instructed all district officers to submit weekly performance reports consistently and warned that absenteeism or failure to execute assigned responsibilities would not be tolerated. He stressed that the meeting’s objective extended beyond Quetta, aiming to strengthen the province-wide dissemination of accurate and timely information regarding development programs and public services.
Highlighting the importance of transparency and proactive communication, the DGPR underscored that all officers must actively contribute to raising public awareness and promoting the government’s initiatives across Balochistan.
