PESHAWAR: Tribal Areas Electric Supply Company (TESCO) has finalized arrangements to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply during Sehri and Iftar hours in the holy month of Ramadan.
According to officials, the Power Distribution Center at TESCO headquarters, along with all grid stations, operation divisions, and sub-divisions, have been directed to ensure staff presence during peak hours to promptly address any technical faults and avoid load-shedding during critical times.
Consumers can register complaints at the central complaint center by dialing 118 or 091-9331167.
Chief Executive TESCO Syed Tahir Jamal urged consumers to restrict electricity usage to essential needs such as lighting and water supply during Ramadan to prevent system overloading.
He noted that excessive power consumption, particularly in tribal districts where many domestic consumers lack electricity meters, leads to feeder tripping and disrupts continuous power supply. He appealed to the public for full cooperation to maintain a stable system during Sehri and Iftar hours.
