Peshawar – February 20, 2026: Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi officially inaugurated 96 newly constructed modern residential flats for government employees under Phase II at Civil Quarters, Peshawar. Each unit covers 1,000 square feet, and the project, completed at a cost of Rs. 886.506 million, spans 6.91 kanals with a basement and a four-storey building. Every floor houses 24 flats, equipped with electricity, water, gas, security, parking, and other essential amenities to meet contemporary living standards.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chief Minister Afridi highlighted that the initiative aligns with the vision of Imran Khan to enhance employee performance, job satisfaction, and institutional stability by providing dignified and high-quality housing. He stated that the provincial government will continue expanding residential projects for public servants and implement reforms in the housing sector to further improve access to modern living facilities.

Afridi emphasized that government employees are valuable assets, and their welfare remains a top priority. He noted that secure and dignified housing ensures mental well-being and supports better performance, and these newly constructed flats aim to provide a safe, comfortable, and peaceful living environment for public servants.
