CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Stroke Management Program Saves Lives

Lahore – February 20, 2026: A 45-year-old man, Mohammad Imran, has successfully recovered from a severe stroke thanks to the Stroke Management Program initiated by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Imran, an employee of Pakistan Post, was rushed to the Services Hospital Lahore after suffering paralysis on the left side of his body and difficulty speaking.

At the Stroke Management Program Center in the hospital’s emergency ward, he was administered the “TNK” injection to dissolve the blood clot. Within hours, his limbs regained mobility and his speech improved. Imran expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for providing the costly treatment free of charge, praying that leaders continue such initiatives for public benefit. Authorities reported that over 700 stroke patients in Punjab have recovered under this program, which ensures the TNK injection, costing between Rs 3.5–4 lakh, is given free of charge.

CM Punjab Expresses Condolences Over Muridke Road Accident

On the same day, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed deep sorrow over a tragic road accident on Muridke–Narowal Road that claimed four lives, including three children. She conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for them to find strength in facing this irreparable loss.
