QUETTA, Feb 20: The Government of Balochistan, in collaboration with the district administration, has activated the Ramadan Sasta Bazaar to provide essential commodities at subsidized rates.
The market operates daily from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering pulses, meat, vegetables, and other essential food items at discounted prices. Officials said the initiative aims to ease financial pressure on citizens during the holy month of Ramadan.
Monitoring teams are actively supervising supply chains and pricing mechanisms to prevent irregularities. Citizens can report complaints to the district administration’s complaint cell at 0309-2734823 for prompt action.
Authorities emphasized their commitment to ensuring availability of quality goods at affordable prices, providing much-needed relief to fasting citizens and low-income families.
